Founded in 2001, the intent from the beginning was to offer those discriminating individuals and their families a better alternative for their home care needs. The approach was/is simple: focus on the client, the client's family and the caregiver; select the best people; professionally manage the process and ensure nothing short of perfection - just exactly what Tom, Karen and Gerri would want for their parents.
This company is dedicated to Tom and Gerri's late mother - Kathleen Barton. She was a loving, caregiving spirit and a powerful inspiration to them. So you see we, too, have been dealing with the challenges facing the aging "Boomer" population. Everyone needs a support system to be effective in helping others. We see ourselves as an extended family helping an extended family.

Karen Barton, Accounting Manager
Oversees all accounting functions, including payables and receivables, payroll taxes, and assures compliance. Karen also has a background in the wholesale and reverse mortgage industry.

Gerri Tyber, Operations Manager
Oversees client and caregiver support, payroll, invoicing, scheduling, the employment process, project management and quality assurance. Gerri is a retired school teacher from Pennsylvania.

Tom Barton, Owner
Does everything else that Gerri, Karen and the caregiver team doesn't do. Focus is on relationship management, recruiting and retention, training, community relations and quality assurance. Tom was formerly a regional manager for a national real estate franchise organization.

Our Caregivers
Our team fluctuates, according to demand, from twenty to about thirty top-notch, personable, upbeat, capable and caring individuals who do this noble work primarily because they have a passion to help others. Not everyone is so inclined -- that's a fact. We hand-pick our people for not only their skills, talents and abilities but for their compassion, their professional demeanor and, again, their passionate attitude towards caregiving. And of course, every one is fully background checked, bonded/insured, properly oriented, and coached as needed to ensure consistent, effective, and caring service to each and everyone of our clients.
